OUR PASTORS
Oasis Church Pastoral Team – We are team of three pastors, who teach the uncompromising gospel of Jesus Christ from different perspectives as it relates to the unique differences in our age, ethnicity, and life experiences. We believe that a Pastoral Team has been effective since the early church; foreseen and envisioned by the previous pastor, Dusty Giles and utilized by other churches around the world as a way to alleviate the pressures of ministry on a single pastor and his family. Our Pastoral Team serves to reach further into the community, believing that we are most effective and impactful when we are dynamic in our approach to ministry.
DR. ZACHARY BRACK & CHILDREN’S MINISTRY LEADER-REXANN BRACK
Zac is our Senior Pastor and was previously an elder at Oasis Church for years. He is a pharmacist in our community. Zac has a deep desire to serve God with all his heart. He has the heart for the people and is an excellent teacher. He shows it by loving people where they are while teaching and challenging them to become all they can be in the Lord. His wife, RexAnn, is our Children’s Ministry Leader and is a homeschool mom to their four children. Zac and RexAnn have served as leaders at Oasis Church for over twenty-five years.
DWAIN RICHEY & WIFE-PAMELA RICHEY
Dwain is our Associate Pastor and he and his wife Pam joined Oasis Church in the summer of 2015 after actively being involved in their previous church for twenty-five years. Dwain is a business owner in the community. He has a heart for people and a passion to see God’s demonstration of love and power. Pam is a professional with our department of human services. They are both life residents and long-time civic leaders also. Dwain and Pam have eight children and four grandchildren.
COLTEN HIGHTOWER & WIFE-SHEENA HIGHTOWER
Colten is an associate pastor as well as our youth pastor along with his wife Sheena. They have actively ministered for over ten years. He has been a member of Oasis Church for over fifteen years. Colten and Sheena are life long residents of the community. They have two children: James and Jesse. Together they have a passion for family and seek to show God’s love for family to the youth in our community. They both are wonderful examples for young people with teachable spirits toward their leadership and a willingness to do anything they can to meet any need they can see.
OUR ELDERS
Government of Oasis Church – We are governed by a plurality of elders made of qualified members of the church which is lead by the Senior Pastoral Team who are the head elders. Oasis also has an outside presbytery made of a team of three. The Pastoral Team is personally accountable to the presbytery. Each member of this team visits Oasis each year to minister and evaluate the health of the church.
LEONARD SMITH
Along with being an elder for 18 years, Leonard and his wife Teresa have been members of Oasis Church for almost thirty years. They have three children along with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
JAN WEAR
Jan has been an elder for 7 years. She grew up in the church, and married Arthur Wear; they have two children.
OUR PRESBYTERY
MISSIONARY RON BISHOP
Ron Bishop has been a member of the presbytery for twelve years. Shepherd Shapers was founded by Ron and Christi Bishop. Their work in cross cultural ministry has take them to over seventy nations on five continents over the last 30 years. The Bishops have a heart to serve the Christian Community around the world. This is carried out through teaching, training, mentoring and counseling leaders in their field of service. Ron was instrumental in setting up the presbytery at Oasis.
