DISCIPLESHIP MINISTRY
On Wednesday evenings from 7-8pm, adults are currently meeting for discipleship training. We aim to follow God’s word by making disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:18-20). During the training, through wisdom and scripture, we purpose to grow our ministry individually and corporately.

Time at Oasis: 30+ years
Position: Elder
Jan has been an elder for five years, and is our newest elder. She grew up in the church, and is married to Arthur Wear. Arthur has a career in the oil and gas business. Together they have two children. She owns the local floral and gift shop and has been a great asset to the church over the years. Jan lead the worship at Oasis for years and continues to be an important part of the worship team. She is a great asset to the elder team with her experience in business. Also, her sensitive spirit to the heart of Father God has proven to be vitally important to us.
LEONARD SMITH
LEONARD SMITH
Time at Oasis: 30+ years
Position: Elder
Along with being an elder more than twenty years, Leonard and his wife Teresa have been members of Oasis Church for over thirty years. They have three children and seven grandchildren. Leonard is retired, but currently helps his daughter in her local floral and gift shop. His career was in the construction field as he enjoys building things. Leonard has been very instrumental in the different remodeling projects at the church. He has been a pillar in the church, constantly encouraging the church body to move forward in their walk with God. He has a great heart for the people.
